Just for John

John and Terri asked us if we would put a present under our tree for JD. It is a priceless painting of a Donkey that has been passed around their family and they wanted to give it to JD in a way that he wouldn't expect it and it worked great! He and Ashlynn were so surprised. I was able to catch it on video for John and Terri so they could see their handy work unfold. =D

Don't Want To Miss Video

My Dad was holding Maddie and then set her on the ottoman. When she felt it rocking she started swinging herself. My Dad just held on to her arms and she rocked out on it. It was precious! We all laughed and watched for several minutes and when she continued doing it then we started running around looking for cameras and when we finally tracked them down she was still doing it. Here is the best video I got of it.
She was making so many cute noises! I have another video with the noises but it is pretty long and I don't know how to just take a section of it. It was so much fun! Later when I was holding her I set her back on the ottoman but because she prefers to stand over most other things she ended up standing on it rocking and when she finally lost her balance she landed on her knees and then rocked on her knees.
It was great to see how much she developed in the time they were here. It will be mind boggling to see what she is doing the next time I see her.

Fun times with the lil' niece & family

Here is Madison enjoying some of her Christmas gifts. We were all happy that her and her parents were able to sleep Christmas Eve night! Ashlynn came bounding onto my bed joyfully announcing it was 5 o'clock and was ecstatic her baby slept, they were able to get so much sleep in one night, and that Maddie was up playing happily in her crib.

Okay, isn't amazing how good Ashlynn looks even right after she wakes up in the morning...No worries I'm not jealous. ;)

One of Dad's Christmas Gifts

So the gift Maddie liked the most of the things I gave her was the ribbon...

Father and Daughter, this is so cute!

The poor kiddo was so sleepy, and so was Madison. ;)

I found this coat at Old Navy for $8 and the tag said $35, needless to say I was excited!

Here are a whole string of really cute pictures of Madison enjoying real food. The speck of food on her nose was from a sneeze right as Ashlynn had the spoon by her nose.

I can't believe how old she looks in clothes like this. They are completely adorable but she looks older than 7 months.

Like mother like daughter

It made for the best Holiday to have JD, Ashlynn, and Madison around as well as getting to be with my parents! It was wonderful to see friends from Idaho and some of my cousins again as well. It was the perfect break!
