What? Kieley Actually Blogging?

So I decided that I finally start using my blog as an actual blog. I set it up as a class assignment and then didn't touch it forever. There are so many incredible things that continue to happen this summer. My sister Ashlynn had a beautiful baby girl named Madison on June 7 and weighed 7 lbs 6 oz. (I thought it was cool her birthday is a palindrome being born on 6/7 and weighing 7/6) They both are doing really well. We have Madison in our prayers right now though because she struggles tracking with her eyes correctly. The Doctor is not too concerned right now but if things aren't better in a month then they will have to do something about it.

This being my first experience with anyone close to me having a baby I couldn't believe how quickly I fell in love with her. I loved getting to hold her and the one night I spent at Ashlynn and JD's I loved getting to rock her to sleep once in the night and change a few diapers. I know that sounds weird but any chance to be with their little angel is fun. We had a baby shower for her last Saturday to give the family a chance to meet Madi. It was a lot of fun. I don't have words for how grateful I am for the support of family and friends coming to support us on really short notice.

I was also able to go to another one of my roommates wedding. I absolutely love Michelle and Alec and getting to see them come out of the temple happily sealed for all eternity and then at their ring ceremony hearing them tell each other how much they loved one another was priceless. I love all my roommates so seeing them that happy means the world to me. That day was extra great because I was able to see most of the roommates had either at the reception or meeting for lunch in Salt Lake. I don't know how I got so lucky getting the roommates I did!!

Not only has there been those things but the little things like working with my Dad, Mom, and cousins on the farm. I love getting to work with them because it is a guaranteed smile, laugh, and good time. :)
